Well done Alex!!

l knew you'd come up with the Goods(was hoping )
She was a lovely friendly person when she was at Lincoln she had a season of Rep at the Lincoln Theatre (6 weeks)

She was also Ringo's Starrs girlfriend at Butlins Skeggy in 1962

It should also be remembered that the Gaiety Theatre at Filey was, at the time (70's) the largest single deck theatre in Europe, Well thats what George Humphries told me anyway.

l think you and George Humphries are right Skippy,

Filey Gaiety had 2,100 seats where as the BUTLIN Theatre Skegness (Gaiety in 1955) had 2,000(l have the seating plan)

The BUTLIN (Gaiety) theatre Skegness had the advantage of Staging West End Musicals and shows,(as l have mentioned on Bygone before) in 1955 we had Oklahoma,Paint Your Wagon,Zip Goes A Million,Desert Song,Reluctant Heroes,The Hollow etc etc ,
Top artists for Sunday Nights
l operated the Lighting on all those shows (wage was twice as much as being a Redcoat and more)
The theatre was also open to Paying customers, Campers and Non Residents
The shows were staged nearer the end of the season last week in August into September /October when we had to stay in the Butlin lngoldmells Hotel as of course in those days the Camp was closed
