Not sure if Butlins tarmac is adding to globel warming or not. In the good old days we all went by train how green were they ?

If you want to work out your Carbon footprint LINK seems I'm over the average. It's all well and good getting us to cut down on greenhouse gasses but do you really think it will make a difference when the likes of the USA and China (and others) are pumping out more and more each year.

Saw an article the other day saying that animals give off the most carbon (think about that one) and if we were all vegetarians and there were no animals to eat, it might save the world. Now theres a thought.Back to car parks at Butlins, I find once there we dont drive any where else. That and keeping off the curry and fizzy drinks, must help the worlds enviroment, dont you think.

Having just come back from Skegness, would just like to say that the gardens at the open air swimming pool end of the camp, (excuse that old word) look great, backed by trellis well stocked and with brick paving (not tarmac) made the area look very attractive, also the smaller car parks in between the blocks of accomodation make access much easier, so congratulations to the gardners and the design team.
